After 2 weeks cracked and broke off

Purchased 2 pencils on Amazon a few weeks ago, had one in my shirt pocket and the button/clip snapped off. The second pencil same exact problem.

Pencil keeps breaking

The Kuru Toga writes well and I like how it feels in my hand. However two of mine have broken in the past 18 months. Both formed circumferential cracks in the plastic right above the metal tip component. Would not recommend unless you want to buy a new one each year.

Poor packaging: Although the mechanical pencil has been working fine

Poor packaging:
Although the mechanical pencil has been working fine. And I was pleased with the customer service I received; I was not impressed in how it was mailed to me. No packaging around it. It was set inside a bubble envelope. The end cap of the pencil had come off and there was one piece of broken lead in the bottom of envelope. I feel, the packaging could have been much better.
