The Uni Alpha Gel Switch mechanical pencil combines convenience, comfort, and versatility in a sleek design. It features Uni’s signature ultra-soft Alpha Gel grip for maximum comfort during long writing sessions. What sets it apart is its dual writing modes: "Kuru Toga" mode, which automatically rotates the lead to maintain a consistently sharp point, and "Hold" mode, which keeps the lead fixed for greater control and stability.

Switching modes is easy, simply twist the pencil clip. When the clip is aligned with the side window, the pencil is in Hold mode; twist it to the side to activate the Kuru Toga mechanism.

This limited-edition version comes in a playful color palette inspired by sweet donut flavors of Cinnamon Sugar and Double Chocolate, with matching themed packaging to complete the look.

Love it, like i love all products from Uniball!!!

The color selection is very nice. You'd assume so with THIRTY SIX SHADES, but really the only color this set lacks is a nice deep purple. Most colors in the set are a nice junction between dull and vivid.
As for the quality of the pencils themselves: they sharpen nicely, have a nice matte finish which feels very nice on the fingers, and the pigment is soft (similar to the hardness of watercolor paint) so they don't snap and they color smoothly even with a decent amount of pressure.
Also, just like other POSCA products, they can write on many surfaces. They do worse than the markers on smooth surfaces like polished wood, but much better on rough surfaces like stone.
